Past success can hold you back just as past pain can!
Whenever I read for several people and the same theme seems to pop up again and again, I know that something important is going on – for my clients as well as for my ongoing development as a professional medical intuitive.
This past week I read for three people whose readings I could immediately sense were going to produce something out of the ordinary. In all three, I could sense that they had in general proactive personalities. They were outgoing, very articulate and highly motivated. They were the quintessential Type-A self-starters.
At this point you would be forgiven for wondering why they might be consulting a medical intuitive. But I have to say that when I scanned their energy anatomy, I perceived that their energy systems were very blocked and very much stuck in the past. What they seemed to be hooked on, however, was something that I don’t generally see.
With all three clients, I sensed that they were fixated on past successes – not past pain.
The majority of my clients come to me after something negative or painful has occurred in their lives. In response, they have either formed blocks around the experience or they have shielded themselves energetically as a protective measure to ensure that whatever it was never happens to them again. The biggest problem, however, is that a piece of them remains in the past. If you will, they are still plugged into that event. And until they unplug, they are never fully in the present moment.
With my trio, the nature of the event was different – pain had been substituted with pleasure, but the end result was the same. In essence, each of them had a perfect moment that they were holding on to. For one, it was when he bought his first company. For another, it was when she won an award. And for the other, it was when he negotiated a big deal that netted him a whopper of a commission.
Each of them had their own past glory. Each of them thought about it not once but several times a day. And each of them was terrified that they would never be able to do it again. It was as if they concluded that the best had come and gone and that the future would only ever be a disappointing consolation prize.
To make matters worse, each of them had their own series of setbacks since their glory days, which seemed to confirm that in their own way they were each past their sell-by dates.
You might think that these three are simply creating self-fulfilling prophecies. And to a certain extent you’re right. But it’s more than that. On an energetic basis, they are trapped in a time warp. They are stuck on the day and in the event in which they were successful – successful beyond their wildest dreams.
Just as someone who won’t let go of a past love and a failed relationship cannot move on, someone who has experienced great success cannot go on to succeed again unless they let go of that moment and bring all the energy that they have to the present moment. Without the whole we are doomed to only part of our potential.
With each of them, I employed some simple but incredibly powerful neuro-energetic techniques to help them retrieve their energy from their moment in the sun without doing anything to the memory of it. They will always have it and it will always be a part of them. Now, however, they can concentrate and bring all that they are to bear on their next ambitions. I know headlines are going to be made by this lot.
If you are still focused on something that occurred way back when – be it negative or positive, it’s time you let it go. By doing so, you not only achieve a state of peace but you retrieve that piece of you that you left behind. I work with many clients to do just this. And I’m always told that it’s so much easier to accomplish than they had imagined. Perhaps it’s time I worked with you. Book an Intuitive Life Coaching session by clicking here and let’s get started!
And this week over at PsychicBridges,
I look at whether being psychic is a gift or whether it might be considered more of a skill.
