Read any newspaper and it’s easy to understand why so many people are depressed these days. Headlines herald environmental devastation, food shortages, price hikes at the pumps, increases in the costs to power our homes and then let’s not forget those who are struggling just to remain in possession of their homes.

To be sure, the world is in a bad place at the moment. While I am loath to say it, my intuition tells me that it’s going to get worse before it gets better. For some it’s frustrating. For others it’s frightening. For everyone it’s stressful.

It’s as if the earth and her inhabitants are going through a crisis in need of healing. The magnitude of the chaos and pain of our modern times can no longer be ignored and should spur each of us to look within ourselves for what we can do to ease the plight of the suffering.

The first step is to see that each of us has a role to play in healing the world and society in which we live. We are being challenged to see that we cannot afford to be victims or even innocent bystanders. We must get up off our backsides and do something to bring hope where there is currently despair.

Some of us may feel drawn to participating in the political process. Direct social action may be right for others. Regardless of what we do, we must follow our hearts and trust our intuition. And that’s exactly what I am doing.

My inner guidance has told me that I need to give back to a world that has been so good to me. So, this week I am announcing that I am starting my own Healing Clinic for those who are in need of healing but do not have the resources or means to pay for it. To them, I am offering my services, skills, abilities and experience free of charge. This is how I sense that I personally can effect maximum change in the lives of others.

I am a registered, certified and licensed spiritual and energy healer. I am also an accredited distance healer. Moreover, I have gained valuable healing experience through my successful practice as a medical intuitive and spiritual counsellor. But perhaps most importantly, I have the distinction of having healed myself of a disease that doctors told me in 1990 was not only non-curable but would require major surgery and leave me reliant on powerful painkillers for the rest of my life.

Here’s how my Healing Clinic will work. I have allocated approximately 10 percent of my time to give free healing sessions. It is my intention to provide my services without charge to those who need them and request them on a “first come, first served” basis.

With a request for healing, I will arrange a mutually convenient time to send healing to the individual. The type of healing I will utilise is spiritual and energetic in nature and as such can be done remotely and at any distance. I do not require that the individual receiving the healing to be with me physically. I will ask, however, that the recipient be in a relaxed and an open state of mind at the time of the healing session. I do not require feedback, but I would be grateful for updates regarding the recipient’s progress.

Many people find healing to be very beneficial. It is non-invasive and can be performed anytime and anywhere. But please note that healing takes place on a spiritual and energetic level. As a result, I neither do not nor cannot make any promises or guarantees regarding physical improvements or cures.
